In the run up to Christmas St Chad’s, along with many of the Church user groups, gave support to the local Women’s Refuge by way of gifting food and ‘bags of blessings’ for the women and children in the refuge over Christmas.

The Yoga Room and Positive Choice fitness ran classes where entry was by donation of non perishable food items, Jen Davenport of Northwest Cleaning Services collected gifts from all her other clients and produced a huge box just before Christmas and at Messy Church we filled 29 gift bags of toiletries and treats. Donations were also collected by Kumeu Friendship Club, Senior Net and Kumeu Blend Choir.
